One of the benefits of being in the worm business is that I get to meet a log of GREAT people. My customers are extremely friendly, excited to learn, and very appreciative of the training they receive. My goal is, and always has been, that if a customer comes back to buy more worms, it is because they WANT more, not because they need more.

I receive many very nice sentiments from my customers, but this one particuliarly stood out:

I enjoy your blogs! They are enlightening,inspirational & refreshing! When the worm bin overwhelms me (because worms actually freak me out), your blogs make me feel I can do this. And I really want to do this because the whole idea is fascinating to me. I told my husband that reading your blogs, I get the impression of a young kid who is very into his worms!

So, keep up the great work because it is so inspiring to see a young-at-heart adult so into what he does & spreading his enthusiasm to others!

The truth is, playing with worms reminds me of my childhood. I spent many summers scouring creeks, looking for tadpoles, frogs, toads…basically anything that moved. Although those care free days have been replaced with adult responsibilities, the worms relax me, and help to keep me grounded.

At 46 years of age, I think I’ve finally figured out what I want to do when I grow up!
