The Biopod Plus Grub Composter
Features:
- Hinges provide a means to easily open the main lid using front handle
- Pair of angled, 40 degree migration ramps allow for natural migration of grubs. Inner edge of 2″ wide ramps possess a raised lip to guide grubs and optimize auto-crawl-off. Ramps lead to harvest slit at top which overhangs the entry chute of the harvest bucket.
- Covered harvest bucket auto-collects grubs for simple, no-hassle separation. Bucket fits snuggly into body and features a drip channel that diverts condensation and precipatation away from the contents, a carrying handle to remove unit from body while providing a means of gripping, an air port slot to keep grubs from suffocating, and an top entry chute when the grubs fall.
- Convenience lid easily pivots, allowing for quick dumping of food scraps, while shielding top ventilation portal – critical for aeration and egg laying
- Heavy duty, weather-resistant construction insures long life span, protection of colony from the elements and multi-year use
- Fresh air enters through bucket slit, passively flowing through entry chute in bucket, which leads to the harvest slot in body and exits at convenience lid – continually maintaining aerobic conditions
- Compact design is ideal for shade gardens and patios – compatible with rural, suburban and urban settings
- Passive drainage of compost tea occurs through permeable drainage plate, allowing liquids to flow into collection area
- Sturdy drainage plate phyically separates active colony from liquid catchment area, allowing liquid to pass through 0.5 cm holes
- Faux stone appearance blends in naturally with landscaping
Benefits:
- Divert and digest all food scraps from smelly garbage bin, kitchen insinkerator and open-air garden composter
- Re-capture valuable lipids and proteins found in kitchen waste and transform them into usable live feed for domesticated animals and wildlife

The Worm Inn - Brown
Why is The Worm Inn better than traditional Home Worm Composting Systems?
If you have ever used a rubbermaid tub as a worm bin, you know there are definite limitations. Plastic does not breathe well, making it difficult to keep your worm bedding damp, yet not muddy.
The Worm Inn is a true flow thru processor - Worms, bedding, and scraps go in the top… crumbly castings come out the bottom.
No more time consuming harvests. Simply release the toggles when you’re ready to harvest. Collecting your flakey castings is automatic.
The Worm Inn is made out of breathable, yet extraordinarily durable material. The same material used in high end backpacks.
Air flow is a key component for healthy worms. The Worm Inn is the most Breathable continuous flow composting system available.
Air flow is the key to avoiding “Stinky Worm Bin Syndrome”. The Worm Inn’s breathable construction helps to avoid anaerobic bacteria growth.
The Worm Inn can fit almost anywhere. With a footprint of only 18 x 18, The Worm Inn processes LOTS of scraps, yet easily fits in a laundy room, a closet, a garage, even a classroom.
The Worm Inn easily fits on a laundry hamper stand, the back of a door, or build a 5 Minute Custom No bend, No stoop stand (Available separately).
Available in multiple Colors and Patterns – Unlike unslightly black bins, The Worm Inn Looks GREAT!

The Soil Cube Maker Kit!
Why soil cubes?
Save Money! Soil cubes are made with a small hand tool that will quickly pay for itself. When compared to purchasing peat pellets, peat pots, or other small plastic pots that will deteriorate over time, the small expense of a Soil Cube tool will be immediately offset in the first few flats of seedlings.
A few plants at a time or many can be started. When using flats to start your seedlings you must fill the entire flat with soil, even if you only want to start a few plants at a time. Using soil cubes allows you to sow a few at a time for succession planting.
More kinds of vegetables can be grown in soil cubes. Basically, since there is no root shock when the cubes are moved to the growing beds, some plants, usually not recommended for transplantation can be raised successfully in cubes like sweet corn, beets, and cucumbers.
What’s included in the kit?
- The 2″ Professional Soil Cube Tool
- Tongs for transplanting the cubes to your garden beds
- Detailed instructions, and a recipe for making perfect mix
Check out similar products, the soil cube maker is by far the best value on the market!

Magic Worm Bedding 25 Pound Bag
·Premium 25 lb bag of worm bedding.
· It can be used to start your worm bin or next
tray in the Worm Factory
· A good bedding must be organic, absorbent
and easy to work with. Magic® Worm
Bedding is made from a special sphagnum
peat moss base, an organic fibrous material
which will hold up to twenty times it’s own
weight in moisture. The spongy, fluffy
structure of Magic® Worm Bedding is
maintained because it is made of millions of
tiny fibers that also work to toughen and
condition worms so they will live longer on the
hook and catch more fish. When the bedding
becomes black, it is full of worm castings and
needs to be replaced. Then you can use this
natural humus in your garden.
800+ African Nightcrawler Cocoons
African Nightcrawler Cocoons are a great, economical way to start your squirm of African Nightcrawlers! 800+ Cocoons come packed in bedding ready to be hatched. *With an average reproduction rate of 4 worms per cocoon, an 80% success rate will give you over 2,000 Baby African Nightcrawlers.
Additional Information:
To ensure your cocoons arrive safely, we have packaged your cocoons in organic compost with sufficient food for approximately two weeks. We also moistened the cocoons. Thus, they will have plenty of food (in case they hatch early) and sufficient moisture in case of any delays during transport. Just pour the contents of your package into your worm bin and cover with 1” to 2” layer of moist bedding.
Cocoons Management
The cocoons are opaque, oval-shaped to a small point at each end, and very small – not much bigger than 1/8” in diameter. Because the cocoons are moist, the bedding particles will stick to them, making them look like the particles of dirt. They will be difficult to see.
Water the bedding until damp and keep it moist. Worms require moisture to breathe. If the bedding dries out during the first month, you could lose some of your hatched worms.
Worm cocoons hatch within 2-3 weeks when the bedding temperature reaches 70 degrees. Baby worms are small and whitish-pinkish when they leave the cocoon. Each cocoon egg produces approximately 4 worms. Within 2-3 days, they begin to change color to eventually match their surroundings. In a short 3 months, they will begin to reproduce a second generation of cocoons. Each worm produces approximately 38 cocoons annually.
*Successful hatching rates are dependent upon temperatures, oxygen, and moisture levels.
Your results may vary, and because the cocoons are out of our control once they arrive, we cannot make any hatch rate guarantees.
1,600+ African Nightcrawler Cocoons
African Nightcrawler Cocoons are a great, economical way to start your squirm of African Nightcrawlers! 1,600+ Cocoons come packed in bedding ready to be hatched. *With an average reproduction rate of 4 worms per cocoon, an 80% success rate will give you over 4,000 Baby African Nightcrawlers.

New and Improved-The Mason Bee Condo
If you think Worms are cool, chances are good you also enjoy gardening. Gardening offers the opportunity to connect to nature, and even better, it offers the opportunity to eat GREAT TASTING fruits and vegetables.
Have you ever thought about the roles Bees play in your garden? Let me fill you in on a special type of bee that you probably have in your neighborhood already, and I GUARANTEE you that you’ll wish you had MORE!
Mason Bees are different than the traditional honey bee, in that they are very docile unless provoked. Their whole purpose in life is pollination!
Mason bees are solitary bees, and therefore, do not swarm or live in a hive. Given the opportunity…they could live in your Mason Bee Condo.
Here are some quick details about Mason Bees:
Mason bees are native to almost the entire continental USA and Southern Canada. Very efficient pollinators, Mason bees work directly upon the reproductive structures of the blossoms, collecting nectar and pollen simultaneously. It takes about 75 flower visits to gather a full load, and an average of 25 loads for an average pollen wad. The female Mason bee visits about 1875 blossoms a DAY!!!!
Orchard Mason Bees do not make wax or honey. Instead, they spend their active life reproducing; gathering pollen, and laying eggs.
Why are bees so important? Bees are the earth’s number one pollinator! Bees pollinate over 1/3 of the food crops we eat, as well as numerous other plants that play a vital role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem.
We tend to imagine insects that produce honey, live in hives, and have a nasty sting. But, only the honey bee fits this description. There are actually 20,000 to 30,000 different kinds of bees in the world. Bees can be divided into two groups…social bees and solitary bees. Honey bees and bumble bees are considered social bees because they live in colonies that are called hives. Each hive consists of a queen bee, a few male drones, and several female worker bees. However, Mason bees are actually solitary, which means they tend to live and nest alone. Unlike the honey bee, solitary bees are non aggressive insects who only sting when being squeezed or attacked. Even then, this sting feels more like a mosquito bite than a wasp sting.
Cool and Hard to Find - Mason Bee Stacks

Cutest Lady Bug House In The World!
Thanks to their voracious appetite for aphids, these armor-plated little beauties are beloved by gardeners. Our entomologically accurate Ladybug House encourages these beneficial insects to take up residence in your garden and provides a safe roosting place during chilly months.
In the spring, ladybugs become active and can often be found in backyard gardens and fields. Attract them into your garden with flowers such as angelica and dill, weeds like dandelions, wild carrot, or yarrow, and a combination of whey and yeast (“Wheast”). A commercial ladybug attractant may also serve your purpose well. You can encourage ladybugs to stay in your garden by providing ladybug houses. Ladybugs generally spend winters hibernating together in protected hiding places such as logs, buildings, rock crevices, or ground cover. Ladybug houses create safe havens that mimic natural hiding places where ladybugs might spend the winter months or lay their eggs so that their young may metamorphose in a protected place. Remember to use only ladybug-friendly pesticides, and your ladybugs will help keep your garden looking great every year.
Cute little ladybug house!
House is constructed of pine and outside finished with Walnut stain and Polyurethane (inside is unfinished). Front opens for easy cleanout. Easily mounted on pole.
Dimensions 6″ x 6″ x 10″

The Gard'n Gro
Organic Farmers and gardeners have known for years that a very effective way to protect their plants from insects, disease, and pests it through the action of normally occuring beneficial bacteria in soil. The purpose of the beneficial bacteria is to break down the compost and humus into a nutrient the plants roots can absorb. The healthier a plant is, the more likely it is to resist pests and disease. Highly chlorinated water can kill micro organisms in the soil that are there to protect the plant and help produce the plants source of food.
What’s GREAT about a Gard’n Gro?
Promotes healthy plant nutrition and growth by returning the natural balance to your soil, compost, or mulch.
Enhances the effectiveness of non chemical pest control methods.
Protects ladybugs, lacewings, and beneficial nematodes.
Features replaceable cartridge filters.
Prevents hose wear with a specially designed shock absorbing hose saver.
Will process 20,000+ gallons of water.
The Gard’n Grow is designed for residential use only. Flow rates should not exceed 4 gallons per minute. 3 gallons per minute is optimal.
Uses 26 ounces of KDF-55 and 2 ounces of energized crystal.
The Green Knight
The Green Knight Hydroponic Dechlorinator Filter is designed to reduce Free Available Chlorine (FAC) in tap water when filling hydroponic nutrient tanks. Depending on the pH of the water, it may reduce chloramine compounds also. Chloramine reduction is less effective on highly alkalized water.
The Green Knight is a non-cartridge filter which ataches to your hose bib with a specially designed 3 foot vinyl reinforced hose saver.
Recommended flow rate: 2 gpm.
Temperature range: 40 F to 110 F
Max Pressure: 100 psi

New! Cedar Redworm Viewer
This is a self contained worm farm (just like the ant farm, except these guys are actually getting something done) that can hold 40 – 50 redworms along with food debris and bedding. The new design is now thicker to allow more food for the redworms to work with. This display is 1/2 the height of the cedar redworm compost display. The top has two pins so it releases easy to feed. The bottom panel will unscrew to open, harvest and clean out.
7″ tall, 11 1/2″ wide, 3″ thick
New! Vertical Worm Viewer
This display has been tested for some time to ensure you see the whole decomposition process. This display is tall enough to feed several times, so you can see the worm work being done. It will hold 100 – 150 redworms. The black covers keep it dark so the redworms will work all of the compost inside the display. The top has two pins so it releases easy to feed. The bottom panel will unscrew to open, harvest and clean out.
14”tall, 11 ½”wide, 3” thick
New! Hardwood Deluxe Worm Viewer
This is the Rolls Royce of displays. It’s made of various hardwoods with a teak oil finish on the outside. Black covers to keep the redworms working and a steel handle for easy carry. Easily fits 100 to 150 redworms to demolish the food waste quickly. The top has two pins so it releases easy to feed. The bottom panel will unscrew to open, harvest and clean out.
